We are so excited to offer items for online view to our Cherry Point Yard Sales Community, Armed Forces, frequent Habitat shoppers and surrounding areas! Items posted online will be from the Newport ReStore! Please read the following guidelines to know how we will be operating on Cherry Point Yard Sales:

Guidelines for putting items on hold through Cherry Point Yard Sales (CPYS):

Important: Our ReStore has the right to make any items F.C.F.S (first come first serve). These items will “not” be allowed to be placed on hold.

In order to put an item seen on CPYS on hold, one must do the following:

  Call or Email the Newport ReStore at 

(252)-223-4493 to find out the status of the items. If the item is available for sale and not on hold the ReStore will then issue a hold in your name on that item. View our hold policies below:

How long is an item on hold?

A. If an item is placed on hold in the store:  The item will be held until close of our NEXT business day. (i.e.: If we are closed the next day, the item will still be held until we close on the next day we are open for business. View how our holds are set.

If an item is put on hold:

Monday: It comes off hold Tuesday at 4

Tuesday: It comes off hold Wednesday at 4

Wednesday: It comes of Thursday at 4

 Thursday: It comes off hold Friday at 4

Friday: It comes off hold Saturday at 4

Saturday: It comes off hold Monday at 4

How long do I have to pick up an item after I pay for it?

Buyers have 7 days to pick up items from the date of purchase. Additional time can be given depending on the circumstances. Any merchandise that is not picked up within 7 business days will be considered a donation back to the ReStore.
