The Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations of good, complete residential building materials. All donations are tax-deductible.
Materials are either used by CCHFH or sold in our ReStore.

The Habitat Home Store is located at

Store hours and donation drop-off hours:
Monday–Friday, 10-4; Saturday, 8-3, Closed Sunday - 10am to 3pm
Wednesday, Sunday - CLOSED

The ReStore offers a pick-up service for some items.

ITEMS ACCEPTED AND SOLD BY THE ReHOME STORE:

We accept donations of good, useable, complete residential building materials.

  • APPLIANCES that are in working order and less than 15 years old:
    • Washers/Dryers
    • Water heaters (5 yrs. or newer)
    • Range hoods
    • Range tops
    • Ovens (drop-in or free standing)
    • Refrigerators
    • Microwave ovens
  • ARCHITECTURAL ITEMS
    • Columns
    • Mantelpieces
    • Antique windows
    • Porch posts
    • Miscellaneous Items
  • CABINETS
    • Individual pieces or full cabinet sets of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Cabinets must have all doors and drawers, and be in good condition.
  • FLOORING
    • Carpet that is 10'x10' or larger. Good to excellent condition, with no visible wear or tear, no stains or odors.
    • Carpet padding. Any size, with no stains or odors.
    • Hardwood/parquet flooring. Minimum of 25 sq. ft.
    • Vinyl tile, sheet vinyl. Any quantity of new material.
  • DOORS [no doors prior to 1974 due to lead paint]
    • All types of residential and commercial doors. No Garage doors.
    • Pre-hung or door slabs. Door slabs no taller than 84".
    • Exterior or interior. No rot, cracks or missing panes.
    • Entryway units
    • Sliding glass. Must have all tracking, no cracked or foggy glass.
  • ELECTRICAL
    • Residential and commercial items.
  • HARDWARE
    • Complete sets of door hardware, any quantity of hinges, nails, screws, hangers.
  • PAINT
    • Paint is sold at the Home Store; however, we only accept paint donations from the general public if the paint is contained in full and unopened cans.
  • PLUMBING
    • Sinks: All types of kitchen and bathroom sinks (No rust or cracks)
    • Toilets: Must be 1974
      or newer manufacture
    • Bath tubs: Fiberglass, cast iron and steel (When space permits)
    • Shower enclosures: White enclosures only (No cracks or stains)
    • Faucets: Complete sets only
    • Miscellaneous Plumbing: Fittings, piping, etc.
  • LUMBER
    • Dimensional: 5' lengths or longer (Treated or untreated)
    • Sheet goods: ½ sheets or larger of particle board, press board, plywood, paneling, etc.
    • Trim, molding: 5 ft. lengths or longer
  • LIGHTING
    • Good to excellent, complete, and in working order
    • We DO NOT ACCEPT hardwired fluorescent lights or can lights.
  • STORM WINDOWS AND DOORS
    • With all windows and screens, all tracking or framing, no cracked glass.
  • WINDOWS
    • Double-hung, picture, bay complete window units with all sashes, no rot, no cracked or foggy glass
    • Window sashes, casements, louvered on a CASE-BY-CASE basis only
    • Wooden windows are not accepted

We reserve the right to turn down any donation at any time.
